Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Medical Sciences University

The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Medical Sciences University was established in the year 1989. The university is situated in the city of Chennai which is in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The university has a reputation of being the first veterinary and animal sciences university in Asia.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

In order to get the admission in the undergraduate program, intermediate education is required. Apart form this, for the admission in the postgraduate programs; one must possess a bachelor’s degree.An entrance test is necessary for all programs.
Candidates must have completed 12 years (10+2) of school education of Indian system or its equivalent for B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. programs.
