Faculty of Dairy Technology offers B.Tech.(DT), M.Tech. (DT) and M.Sc. (Dairying) and Ph.D. courses.
Faculty of Fishery Sciences courses include B.F.Sc., M.F.Sc. courses.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

This university grants admission only on strict merit basis. students must have to go through the entrance test. Students are required to have bachelor degree in order to get admission in masters programs. The merit of WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF ANIMAL AND FISHERY SCIENCES is comparatively higher as compared to other universities in the same field. A joint Entrance is required by the university to be eligible to apply for admission. The merit list is prepared by the university on the basis of marks in last earned degree and the score of the entrance test. This merit list of the selected candidates is announced by the university to invite the selected applicants for the submission of the prescribed fee. An interview is also taken by the university to evaluate the applicant's suitability for the desired course. All coming intakes of admissions are advertised in popular news papers in the country.
