Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University

Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University was established in the year 1987. It is situated in the city of Ajmer which is in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The University is named after Maharashi Dayananda Saraswati. The main aim and objective of the University is to elucidate the society with the light of knowledge and education. There are more than 50 colleges affiliated to the University.

Programs and Courses

The University offers certificate/diploma, postgraduate and doctoral programs in the following departments. Botany, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Food & Nutrition, Management Studies, History, Microbiology, Political Science, Population, Pure and Applied Chemistry, Remote Sensing, Yoga, and Zoology.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Eligibility criteria differs from department to department. The general criteria for admissions in the certificate/diploma programs is that, the individual should have at least intermediate education. On the other hand, for the admission in the postgraduate programs one must have a bachelors degree. For foreign students the criteria for admission is following GMAT = 550 GRE = 280 SAT = 1600.
