The university was founded in 2007 and has a state of the art building. There are two campuses of kilis 7 Aralik University, one is the main campus and karatus campus is the second campus. University is expanded over 8 acres of land and there are 4000 students in this university. These students are graduate and under graduate programs of the university.

Faculty

The faculty of the university is as follows: Faculty of Science - Faculty of Arts, Ikdisadi and Administrative Sciences, Rifat Teacher Education, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Seminary.

University has developed the following schools as well: Yusuf Serefoglu School of Health Sciences and School of Physical Education and Sport.

Some Research centers of the university are following: Scientific Research and Projects Unit, Centre for Continuing Education, Kilis Distance Learning Center, Computer Sciences Application and Research Center, Application and Research Center for Agricultural, Application and Research Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Language Teaching Research and Application Center.
