Harran University was established in July 1992, located in Sanliurfa which is exactly in the center of the city. This university was one of the first universities of the world, and is known to be attracting center for many of the famous scholars. Harran University offers Graduate and Undergraduate programs for the students. It has three main campuses situated in eight different towns. Their vision is to build strong relations nationally and internationally through scientific research and their educational services.

Faculties

Harran University has many Faculties including Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Institutes

Harrran University has three Institutes which are named as Institute of Health Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Applied and Natural Sciences.

Colleges

Three colleges are built in Harran University. College of Health, College of Tourism and Hotel Management and College of Physical Education and Sports are included in them.

Vocational Schools

Harran University has Vocational school for graduate students. It includes Vocational School of Akcakale Vocational School of Bozova, Vocational School of Hilvan, Vocational School of Birecik, Vocational School of Ceylanpanar, Vocational School of Siverek, Vocational School of Health Services, Vocational School of Viransehir and Vocational School of Sanliurfa.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

Admission test is compulsory for the local students to get admission in Harran University. The scores of the tests SAT and GRE must be greater than 1800 and 300 respectively to get admission as international student.
