Initially, ‘Hindi Prachar Sabha’ was movement to promulgate the Hindi language in the region in 1918 by the India leader Mahatma Gandhi. It is an organization with headquarter in Thiyagaraya Nagar and regional headquarters in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala. The main objective of the organization is to spread and teach the Hindi language to non-Hindi speakers in the region and country.

Programs:
The organization offers courses categorized under two categories, one is Regular and the other one is Distance Education. Under the regular program, MA,M.Phil,Ph.D and D.Lit are offered while under Distance Education B.A is also offered.
Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025
Eligibility criteria for all postgraduate programs are that the applicant should have a bachelor’s degree. For the admission in the BA (undergraduate) program, applicant must have a pass in + 2 Examination with Hindi /Rashtrabasha Visharad / Rashtrabasha Praveen or equivalent. For foreign students the criteria for admission is following GMAT = 550.
