Kakatiya University

Kaktiya University was established in 1976 in the city of Warangal which is the city of an Indian State Andhra Pradesh. The university has more than 180 constituent and affiliated colleges. The University aims to cater the academic needs of the masses. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has given ‘A’ grade.

Programs and Courses

The Kakatiya University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. Following are the faculties along with their departments. Faculty of Arts has departments of English, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, and Sanskrit. Faculty of Commerce and Business Management has department of Commerce and Business Management. Faculty of Education has department of Education. Faculty of Engineering has departments of Civil Engineering, CSE, Mining Engg., Mech Engg. Faculty of Law has department of Law. Faculty of Pharmacy has department of Pharmacy. Faculty of Science has departments of Bio Chemistry, Bio Technology, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Informatics, Mathematics, Micro Biology, Physics, and Zoology. Faculty of Social Sciences has departments of Economics, History and Tourism Management, Political Science, Public Administration and HRM, Sociology, Library and Information Science.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The applicant must have an intermediate degree in order to get the admission in undergraduate course. Apart from that, bachelors degree is required if a person wants to get admission in the postgraduate course. Foreign students eligibility criteria would be Minimum GMAT score = 650 Minimum GRE score = 320 Minimum SAT score = 2000.
