Hong Kong Baptist University

The Hong Kong Baptist University was established as Hong Kong Baptist College in the year 1956 but in 1994 the college was granted complete University status, hence becoming Hong Kong Baptist University. The University imparts education in many fields including Social Sciences, Sciences, ArtsEtc.

Achievements, Reputation and Accreditation

According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Hong Kong Baptist University was ranked 276-300^th globally and 13^th in the continent of Asia in 2011. In 2012, QS World University Rankings accredited 271^st spot to the university globally and 48^th spot when it comes to the QS Asian University Rankings.

School of Business offers following programs Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accountancy, Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management, Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources Management, Master of Human Resources Management, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Applied Accounting & Finance, Master of Science in Applied Economics, Master of Science in Corporate Governance and Directorship, Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Management and Master of Accountancy. School of Sciences offers 3 yrs undergraduate programs BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology, BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, BSc (Hons) in Computing Studies (Information Systems), BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Science, BSc (Hons) in Applied and Computational Mathematics, BSc (Hons) in Statistics and Operations Research, BSc (Hons) in Physics and 4yrs Programs are also included. Postgraduate programs offered are: MSc in Advanced Information Systems, MSc in Analytical Chemistry, MSc in Environmental and Public Health Management, MSc in Green Technology (Energy), MSc in Information Technology Management and MSc in Operational Research and Business Statistics.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

If the applicant is HKALE qualified than he/she should apply through JUPAS for the admissions in the undergraduate programs. The applicant should have at least grade E in HKALE and HKCEE examinations. Moreover, a bachelors degree is must for the admission in the postgraduate programs. International students should meet the requirements or prove eligibility through equivalent qualification.
