The University of Kashmir was established in the year 1956. The university is situated in the city of Srinagar which is in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The motto of the University is ‘from darkness to light’. That’s why it imparts education in various academic fields including Arts and Social Sciences. The university has 30 affiliated colleges to the university in the region. Moreover, the National Assessment & Accreditation Council of India has categorized the university under ‘A’ grade. The university also proffers distance education program.

Admission Procedure 2017 - 2018

In order to get admission in the undergraduate programs, an individual should have intermediate education. And for the admission in the postgraduate programs, one must possess a bachelor’s degree. However, entrance test are taken by the concerned department in order to award admission test. For foreign students Minimum GMAT score = 650 Minimum GRE score = 320 Minimum SAT score = 2000 is required.
