Jai Narain Vyas University

Jai Narain Vyas University was established in the year 1962. The University is situated in the city of Jodhpur which is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The main aim and objective of the University is to provide quality education to the people of the western Rajasthan. There are more than 40 affiliated colleges and the University also has collaboration with many International Institutions.

Jai Narain Vyas University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral courses in the following faculties. The Faculty of Arts includes Adult & Continuing Education, Economics, English, Fine Arts, French, Geography, Geography , Hindi , History , Institute of Evening Studies , Music, Pandit Madhusudan Ojha Research Cell , Patrakarita Evam Jansanchar (Journalism & Mass Communication), Philosophy , Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Rajasthani, Sanskrit and Sociology. Faculty of Commerce includes Accounting, Business Administration, Business Finance & Economics, and Management Studies. Faculty of Engineering and Architecture includes Architecture and Town Planning , Chemical Engineering , Civil Engineering , Computer Centre , Computer Science and Engineering , Dean Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication , EMMRC, Mechanical Engineering , Minning Engineering , Production & Industrial Engineering and Structural Engineering. Faculty of Law includes Law. Faculty of Science includes Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Home Science, Maths & Stats, Physics and Zoology.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The main criteria for admission in the undergraduate for a candidate are, to have intermediate education and for the admission in the postgraduate program, one must have bachelor’s degree. For international students the criteria for admission is GMAT = 550.
