In 1998 the ruler of Ajman felt a space in the medical institutions and gave an idea about the establishment of a medical university in United Arab Emirates. At that time the Gulf Medical University was known as Gulf Medical College. The university is situated in the city of Ajman which is a wonderful city of United Arab Emirates.

Affiliation:

In 2008 due to the efforts of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarik Al Nahayan the Gulf Medical College was given the charter of the university. The university is also approved by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Department. The Medical Department was added in the college in the year 2008.

Programs and Courses

The university is providing its expertise in the areas of medical and health sciences. The university conducts under graduate and post graduate programs along with some other short courses which are of 10 months to onwards. The university is providing all the necessary equipments to the students of university as well to the faculty members as they think the journey of learning never ends.

Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025

The criteria of admission in different programs are different. Students should have 500 marks in TOEFL and 5 in their IELTS exam.
