Gujarat Agricultural University was established according to an act 1969(Gujarat Act.No.13 of 1969).
It is largest university that provides great contribution in Agriculture sector of the country. The main campus of the university is located at Sardarkrushinagar. University provides contribution in the development of faculties like Agriculture, Veterinary, Home Science, allied sciences and basic sciences under graduate and undergraduate departments. It introduces the modern applications for Agriculture technology and enhances the intellectual skills of the students. The aim of the university is to provide great opportunities to farmers in North and Northwest Gujarat.
