Gujarat Agricultural University was established according to an act 1969(Gujarat Act.No.13 of 1969).
It is largest university that provides great contribution in Agriculture sector of the country. The main campus of the university is located at Sardarkrushinagar. University provides contribution in the development of faculties like Agriculture, Veterinary, Home Science, allied sciences and basic sciences under graduate and undergraduate departments. It introduces the modern applications for Agriculture technology and enhances the intellectual skills of the students. The aim of the university is to provide great opportunities to farmers in North and Northwest Gujarat.

It offers undergraduate programs in Agriculture, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Home Science and Agri Business Management. It offers graduate program in Agriculture, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Home Science and Agri Business Management. University also offers diploma courses and certificate programs for national and international students as well.
Admission Procedure 2024 - 2025
University conducts common Entrance test CET for admissions in different courses and programs for eligible students. Successful candidates will receive interview call from administration of the university after passing entrance exam to get admission in various programs of the university.
