Established in 1965 and named after former Indian Prime Minister, Chaudhry Charan Singh University is one of the prominent universities in India. It is a public university and it is situated in Meerut, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The main campus expands over an area of 222 acres providing space for botanical garden, gymnasium, stadiums, experimental fields…etc. The vision of the University is to produce intellectually capable professionals who can deliver extravagantly in their respective fields and its vision is assisting in achieving the University’s mission which is to become one of the top-ten universities of the country. There are many colleges in the region which are affiliated with the University.

Chaudhry Charan Singh University offers postgraduate, M.Phil, diploma/certificate and doctorate programs. The university has eight faculties namely, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Arts Faculty of Education, Faculty of Commerce & Management, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Law.

Admission Procedure 2017 - 2018

Candidate can get enrolled in any of the University’s programs if he/she has secured 50% marks in intermediate and bachelor’s degree separately. Whereas, for some courses the eligibility criteria for admission is at least 55% marks. For foreign students the criteria for admission is following GMAT = 550 GRE = 280 SAT = 1600 plus bachelors degree.
