University of Afyon started on 10 November 1992 according to Law No. 3837 on 3rd July, 1992. The university is growing rapidly and replacing elite educational institutions throughout the country. It provides quality education that meet international criteria. The aim of the university is to educate the people and connected them to the fundamental principles of democracy and Republic. The university provides its students a free environment where they can express their feelings and thoughts easily. They also receive training in various educational fields with peace and security. The University meets the social and cultural needs, also offering them high quality education.

Campus of the University of Afyon Afyonkarahisar Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Ali Cetinkaya Campus, Ahmet Karahisari Campus, for a total of three campus providing quality education and training activities.
